BEACHES WATCH MEETINGS
Beaches Watch meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 7pm in the Community Room of the Beaches Branch Library, 600 3rd St., Neptune Beach.
The meetings are open to the public and include a guest speaker and discussion of the current issues for our beaches communities.

Do you understand the 2010 ballot amendments you will be voting on this November?
Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland and Jacksonville Beach City Attorney Susan Erdelyi will provide unbiased explanations about the 2010 General Election ballot amendments so you can understand the amendments and make an informed decision when you vote.

On November 2nd, beaches voters will be voting on nine state constitutional amendments which could affect school class size, campaign finance, comprehensive plan land use changes, and redistricting. Beaches voters will also be voting on one non-binding amendment to the United States Constitution and a Duval County elections ballot amendment. Atlantic Beach voters will be voting on an Atlantic Beach elections ballot amendment and Jacksonville Beach voters will be voting on several Jacksonville Beach ballot amendments, including an amendment to permit a person to run for mayor after serving two terms as a councilor.
Jacksonville Beach City Attorney Susan Erdelyi will provide an unbiased explanation of all of the Jacksonville Beach ballot amendments and Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland will provide an unbiased explanation of all the other ballot amendments.
